Pigeon Man Principal To play approximately 20-35 Pigeon Man is just an average pigeon-man hybrid living an average life. He has a boring job, a girlfriend, a nice home, and a good sense of style. His clothing is very important to him, he doesn’t seem to have many hobbies other than biking and playing chess with his girlfriend. He lives his life happily, although he always felt something was missing. It felt dry and empty, eating breadcrumbs every day, not doing anything new. Then he finds out about FRANKENFATHER. Robin Supporting To play approximately 20-35 Robin is Pigeon Man’s girlfriend. She is smarter than him, better looking than him, and always beats him at chess. She is Pigeon Man’s only friend. She knows she can do better than Pigeon Man, but settles anyway. She doesn’t want to live with Pigeon Man or spend too much time with him, just one chess game per day, which she always wins. Then she sends him on the way. Pig Cop Supporting To play approximately 30-50 Pig sees Pigeon Man’s fall from grace from the most distant perspective of all the characters. He is just someone Pigeon Man waves hello to on his way to work. But his civil and kind demeanor changes along with Pigeon Man's downfall. Horse Boss Supporting To play approximately 30-50 Pigeon Man’s boss, he is a very professional man. We know nothing about him except that he wears suits and is extremely punctual. If there is one thing he hates, it is being late. He hates it compulsively.

The film explores themes of isolation, paranoia, and the intricacies of friendship amidst the backdrop of student life. Roles Available: Anna (Lead Role): Female, aged 18-25. Anna is a university student living in student housing in Groningen. After a night out, she can't shake off the feeling of being followed, leading to a series of unsettling experiences. As her paranoia deepens, she finds herself increasingly alienated when her concerns are dismissed by her friends. Applicants should be able to portray a range of emotions, from fear to isolation. English proficiency is required, and a Dutch accent or other accents can be accommodated to some extent. Robin: (Supporting Role): Any gender, aged 18-25. Robin is Anna's best friend, who is skeptical of Anna's fears and reluctant to believe her experiences. This role requires someone who can navigate the fine line between concern and disbelief, showcasing the complexities of friendship under strain. Friends/Roommates: (Supporting Roles): Any gender, aged 18-25. A group of Anna's friends and roommates who share a close bond, especially during the busy exam period. While they initially support Anna, they begin to doubt her state of mind as she becomes more consumed by her paranoia. Actors for these roles should be able to portray a dynamic range of interactions, from camaraderie to conflict. Requirements: Age: 18-25 Fluent in English; a Dutch accent or other accents are acceptable within reason. Ability to convey complex emotions and navigate the psychological depth of the characters.

Characters Sharon Gender: Female  Age: 30 – 40 (early 30s preferable)  Appearance: On the taller side (160 – 170cm), slim figure, dark hair (preferably shorter, bangs), a slight fanaticism in the eyes. Even though she’s approaching 40, people tend to estimate her to be in her late 20s.  Description: She is highly intelligent and driven, though there is something slightly off about her – she has been consumed by her work (research into the field of the supernatural) to a financial degree: she isn’t exactly malicious, but her moral compass has been entirely overtaken by her research. She is manipulative in a way, but her genuine enthusiasm is genuinely infectious. She is also quite attractive, though she herself only takes a siren level interest in romantic relationships.  Quote: “I’m sorry it had to be this way Gary, you’re a sweetie – but, keep in mind, you’re part of something so much greater than yourself! Ta-ta!”  Gary Gender: Male  Age: 23 - 27  Appearance: Average to slightly below average height, (170 – 180cm), somewhat scrawny or possibly pudgy, not especially muscular. Greenhorn – unexperienced, somewhat unsure of himself, but not a complete goober.  Description: Unexperienced, nervous, though eager to learn – a bit taken aback by Sharon, experiencing a subtle crush. Partially serves as the audience insert – think Morty from Rick and Morty, in that he is going along with whatever Sharon says, though he’s struggling to keep up. There is a clumsiness to him, but it’s partially because of the nerves he feels working with the renowned expert that is Sharon. Quote: “Uh, yeah, sure… hey, how do I turn this one on, again?”
