FIDMarseille holds its 37th edition from July 7 to 12, presenting 133 films from 42 countries despite the controversy surrounding Nadav Lapid's withdrawal as a juror following the boycott by several selected filmmakers. The program opens with Route algéricaine by Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche and closes with The Diary of a Chambermaid by Radu Jude, while 48 films compete in five competitions, 40 of which are world premieres. The international competition includes fourteen films judged by a jury comprising Mariano Llinas, Eszter Tompa, and Jesse Cumming, with titles by Anna Marziano, Ted Fendt, and Eloy Enciso Cachafeiro, among others, selected.
